Weezyocumentary

if you've seen the behind the music: Lil' Wayne on VH1 some months ago well that was nothing compare to "The Carter".

Young Money - "We Are Young Money"

just got a hold of the "leaked" version of this and it'll be on my car-deck for awhile. i fully didn't expect them to be more than just auto-tune/r&b'ish bull crap...this album is actually worth it to listen too. so many good hook's and verses that you're gonna be reciting just out of the blues. GUDDA GUDDA, Jae Millz, & Mack Maine, all killed it on this album and they're all blowing up after the release which is next week tuesday.

here's a sampler aka Track 1: "Gooder"

Volcano Choir - "Unmap"

found this band under a catalog from when i got Bon Iver's "For Emma, Forever Ago" Vinyl. this is a side-project from Justin Vernon (Bon Iver's Lead Singer). something new for me to listen to while i wait for another album from Bon Iver.

here's a sample

"Christian" Side-Hug?

Micah P. Hinson

i've stumbled upon this guy's music by watching this video(it's the second song @2:03)

and immediately went on a hunt for that song("when we embraced"). then it led to me find more & more of his albums in which only 5 LP's that i've found. the rest of his stuffs are all in 7" Vinyl EP's in which i'm still in search of and really really want to get all of it because this guy is absolutely soothing. i mean he doesn't even look like anything as he sounds!

what made me like his music even more is when i got of ahold of his latest album "All Dressed Up And Smelling Of Strangers" which is a compilation of 50's to 60's covers from artist like Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and The Beatles.

you can listen to it at imeem or his myspace

iPhoneography la Portland

since i dont have the luxury to own a laptop while i'm travelling...i put my trusty/convenient iPhone to use to take these pics below. courtesy of the TiltShiftGen app by Toy Camera.

woke up to a chilled morning and decided to venture out to the streets of South-East Division.

ended up getting locked out of the apartment on where i'm staying in because everyone's still asleep but it was good thing cause then i'd get to use my D-SLR that i brought along with me (you won't see pictures till later...)

this house have been on my mind cause everytime i make my way to downtown i'm always passing by...such an eyecatcher.

fanciest breakfast i've had so far...it cost $5.75(no tax). not satisfying at all. it consist of 2 bagels/3x3 choco-chip cookie/genuine mocha coffee(not good)

well yeah here's a video in my stay at Milwaukie(recorded tonight)

then went along with the idea of having bacon as a midnight snack courtesy of leo...now i feel really frickin indegested!
